This morning before I went to go and take my open water exam for my scuba diving, I was on the Joe Madison show, The Black Eagle at www.JoeMadison.com . I had a great time on his national radio show which is on in DC as well as XM Satellite Radio.
It was great to be able to get my idea out about the National Hurricane Center cone of the strike path and the ban on sale of alcohol. It is pretty simple, if your area is in the cone of the path of the storm track, the sale of alcohol should be banned and a mandatory evacuation of all non residents. Katrina did a lot to wake people up but it only takes a few more near misses for people to become complacent.
Then, after the morning radio interview, it was off to Crystal River Florida. This place is great!!! I was scuba diving with some Manatees today and just had a blast. Got down to 50 feet on my second dive and got to the entrance of one of the caves. I could not go in because I am not trained for cave diving yet but it was a blast diving with my buddy Brian and Eric from Scuba Quest in Sarasota. Here is a video capture that Brian took of me, I am totally hooked on Scuba diving now.
