Busy Busy BUSY DAY. Started Out With An Early Morning Video Shoot For The Weather Channel This Morning. Shot More Hot Weather Video For The Weather Channel This Afternoon. And Then… This Happened…
Ok, I got the SCOOP on this story and was able to get beyond the fire line to get right next to the fire fighters before the police shut the area down and locked it down to all the local media while I was still inside with the Fire Fighters. WCCO used this stuff as their opening shot and TWC is going nuts over the video since I was so freaking close to the fire.
Check out Shots 3 & 4, I was right under the Helicopter as it was dumping water on the fire and the water dump missed me by 100 feet.

Out Shooting Very Windy Video For The Weather Channel In Minneapolis. Its Pretty Strange Because I Don’t Remember The Wind Being This Bad For So Many Days In A Long Time. The Winds Were Gusting To Almost Hurricane Force At Times. I Did Get Want I Call A “Trash Nado” On Video.
