So true, learn from the past

Been working on a lot of stuff lately and I saw this quote today and thought I would pass it along.  

“Mankind has a great aversion to intellectual labor; but even supposing knowledge to be easily attainable, more people would be content to be ignorant than would take even a little trouble to acquire it”.  

That sounds modern but it is from Samuel Johnson, 1709-1784. And people wonder why I’m such a history freak.
