Out playing weather channel photographer again…
12/20/2004 Out playing weather channel photographer again shooting B-Roll for their morning show of the cold and ice storm. It was another wicked morning with ice instead of snow again.
Traffic really sucked this morning due to the storm so I was only covering this on the south side of town.
It’s freaking cold out here.
12/19/2004 Ok, for everyone that thinks my job as a freelance photojournalist for The Weather Channel is cool, no, its cold! The Temperature: -7 F, The Wind Chill – too freaking cold out side!!! Here is a screen cap from this mornings video shoot at Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. The lake is still not frozen over so the above freezing water is hitting the sub zero are and creating fog.

Back in Florida Again…
This Afternoon. Hanging out with Mark Rackley and taking a break to eat some fish and chips at the Celtic Ray to help them promote the Hurricane Charlie video.
It would be great being in Florida so much, if the weather really sucked in Minnesota this winter but it does not. I can’t wait to go home and work on the final part of the video collection. Hurricane Charley “Directors Cut”. I’m putting back in the deleted scenes and stuff we did not have time for in the original home video. Hope to have this done by the end of the week. It will be another two disk set.

Back in Minneapolis and filming some very windy weather. I filmed another TrashNado in downtown Minneapolis for The Weather Channel this morning.

After a break, heading back to Florida again.
11/30/2004 After a nice break and a chance to shoot some snow video this weekend, its back to the airport for me to fly to Fort Myers Florida to bring down more Hurricane Charley Videos. This is crazy, I never expected the video to be this huge of a hit. This will be the 5th time I have flown to Florida in the last 4 weeks.
